Advent Calendars. Despite always saying I am on a diet this time of year, how can you say no to an advent calendar? Especially when you have two!
I absolutely love my Christmas tree and the decorations we have around my house. Although I have always wanted a real tree, we have never been able to due to our dogs but I still love ours. There is nothing better than having the lights dimmed, with the lights twinkling and watching a Christmas film.
As you would of probably realised from all of my other posts, I love candles and I recently got this as a present from my friend Kat. The fact that you can use the melted wax as aromatherapy oil is just amazing and I can't wait to use it.
Above are just a selection of my favourite Christmas films. I have to admit, my favourite has to be The Santa Claus, and I do actually have the whole box set of all three films which I can't help but love and watch again and again every year.
We only built this fireplace in a few years ago but since we have, it feels so much more Christmassy! As much as I would of loved to have the fireplace when I was younger then I would of really thought Father Christmas would be coming down, it's still as lovely now to have the fire crackling in the background on a cold winters night. Plus a hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows wouldn't go a miss!
Last but not least is the presents! As much as I love getting presents and the excitement of not knowing what you have, I love buying other people presents more. There is nothing better than buying someone a present you know they are going to love and my boyfriend, family and friends have a fair few lovely presents from me this year that I can't wait for them to open!
Now for me to have a relaxing bath then sit and watch a Christmas film as now I'm feeling far too festive!
